'Cutest Ever' Awarded to Baby Jack Photograph

Dad gave this photograph of Baby Jack the 'Cutest Ever' award this morning during a small ceremony at his office. Dad was reported as saying "It was a hard choice, and I am absolutely not biased."

Insiders report that Baby Jack gave his father extra eye contact and smiles this morning to sway his judgment. An official investigation has been launched.

Leo Visits and Approves of the Baby Jack

Leo has visited his new cousin, and by all accounts approves of the new guy on the block. It is confirmed that Leo's job will be to teach baby Jack all there is to know about trains, particularly the various subtleties of the F and the B trains.

First Bath a Success. Second Bath... Not So Much

Baby Jack loved his first bath, and so did his parents. His parents were a little cocky for the second bath, and well, he had a rougher ride. All that said, he loves the water, and it really knocks him out afterwards.

Albeit a Little Scary, First Visit to Pediatrician Goes Well

Baby Jack made his first visit to the pediatrician on Friday. The big news is that Jack's weight is progressing very well; two weeks after leaving the hospital at 7lbs 8oz, he now weighs 8lbs 10oz. Great job Mom!

Jack was a real trooper, and the pediatrician was very nice. That said, anyone making moves to remove his diaper gets the look seen in the photo (at left).

Jack Befriends Green Monster from West Coast

Jack's friends Nate & Tara from Seattle ventured deep into the woods of the Olympic Peninsula, captured this furry green monster, and shipped it over to serve as a new playmate. After an initial 'holy cow!', Jack and the monster are best of buds.

Big Walk to Carroll Gardens

Baby Jack made his maiden voyage to Carroll Gardens yesterday with Mom, Grandma, and Aunt Ally. The mission: walk all the way to Citibank to avoid the $1.50 ATM fee. The snap and go was a big hit, and Jack says 'more bumps the better, Mom!' Judging by the smiles on these ladies, we're guessing the mission was a complete success.

Much to the pleasure of grandparents, relatives, and friends, Baby Jack (aka 'poppy') has started his new blog, where news, photos, and hopefully soon, video, will be shared. More to come!
